After changing the layout of my blog, I needed a break from blogging. Besides, there is a lack of sponsored post to write lately so I have a little time on hand. I went online searching for free movies to watch.

I have heard of Cinema Now a long time ago as a subscription based movie website but it was only now that I bothered to check the site out. Upon clicking WATCH NOW, a new window is opened with the Cinema Now player. As it was my first time, I was prompted to install some security pack which I did, otherwise the video could not be rendered.

The idea of watching free movies this way is excellent. Unfortunately, I am on a not-so-perfect broadband and the audio and/or video kept breaking spoiling my movie. In the end, I quit the window.

An Excerpt of Hunger and Other Stories

I was introduced to Hunger and Other Stories by my friend who is a voracious reader. Since I do not have the time to explore books like I used to, I follow his recommendation and he has never been off target even once.

There are a total of fourteen in this collection. He told me to read the excerpt of one of the stories to get a taste of what is installed for me in the book. The excerpt that I read was "A Wire Man".

This is a story of father-son and man to man relationships. It is compelling and the writing is distinctly Ian Randall Wilson. This story provokes the mind with its descriptive flow of words that it makes my imagination work overtime.

"A Wire Man" is a very earthy and human story and as a reader, I could feel emotions running raw in every paragraph. Many people go through the same things like the main character, like bad vibes from the father, being forced into doing something against our will, being misunderstood and being accused.

All these ingredients that make up A Wire Man make it such an excellent read. I expect the other stories from Hunger and Other Stories to be as thought-provoking, if not more.

St. Thomas Wedding Photos

My Unique Cell Phone Ringtone

Do you think it is funny when a cell phone rings and a bunch of people take out their phones to check if the call is theirs? It is embarrassing if you can't even recognise your own phone ringing!

Well, to avoid that, I have my own custom cell phone ringtones that I change to suit my mood. I am lucky that I live in a time when cell phones are so advanced. A long time ago, cell phones only have a handful of ringtones. My dad's cell phone has more than forty but there is still the risk of selecting the same ringtone as another person.

For my phone, I can download and store as many ringtones as I like. Not only am I lucky to own a new model cell phone but thankfully, cell phone ringtones are so affordable these days that one can practically buy a new ringtone every day.

Moreover, I can even compose my own ringtone or key in the tone that I found on the internet. My cousin is a musician and I asked her to compose a special ringtone for me which she happily obliged as an experiment.

I dare say I am the only one who has that ringtone! How's that for uniqueness?
