Electricity Spark

Electricity spark killed the adapter and battery of my laptop recently. Since then, my laptop has been idle as I haven't checked the prices of hp batteries and adapters yet. I do have the use of a tablet and smart phones, so it's not as if I can no longer work on the move.

I just hate the thought that I have to spend so much money to replace them, all because of my carelessness. I better get a replacement battery and adapter. They should serve me well, from what my friends told me. I had wanted to upgrade my laptop but do not have the budget right now so I better just get this one fixed.

Clothes Shopping

A friend asked me if I have already done my shopping of Chinese New Year clothes. I haven't and don't intend to. My concern is to shop for work clothes but when it comes to Womens Clothing, I am not a good shopper!

I don't find anything that I like enough to buy and I think I prefer the many more choices that I get from online stores. However, I keep worrying that I may not be able to choose the correct size. Did you know, I used to be Medium but now I am Small. Strange isn't it that I have shrunk over time? LOL

A friend told me that she has found a job. She used to work as a receptionist at a clinic but gave up her job as she wanted to stay home for the children. Now that they are older and more independent, she feels it is time to earn her own pocket money.

Crestor Lawsuit

Marketed by AstraZeneca, Crestor was used to treat patients of cardiovascular diseases and those who suffer from high cholesterol. Surprisingly, for something that sounds so good, the medication is linked to serious side effects on health of those who had been prescribed with Crestor.

Lately, I have read about a Crestor lawsuit and it is shocking that some patients claimed that they suffered from heart attacks and heart failure after taking Crestor.

I have no idea is this happens to everyone but I will surely let people know about this if I know they have been prescribed with Crestor. This isn't a risk that anyone could take.

Regency Beauty Institute Beauty Course

Longer Eye Lashes

According to my sister, who is in the beauty industry, customers are trying to reduce their spending on beauty products. I think the economy is still not recovered yet! Also, the trend now is to look more natural, hence they are willing to spend more money on making themselves look more beautiful naturally.

I read about the trend now to grow longer eyelashes. I have often wondered what I could do to promote eyelash growth but haven't found the answer yet. There are quite a few products in the market but I don't have the time nor resources to try them out one by one. That's why I am waiting for feedback from friends!

Christmas Party Invitations

I have been receiving quite a few Christmas party invitations. As you can see, this is a season I dread as I have to look for formal dresses and Christmas gifts to the hosts! This year, I am helping a friend look for plus size formal dress, which I find it easier to do than to look for my own dress.

I don't know why, somehow, it is not easy to catch my attention. A friend said I am not a woman, because I hardly shop! Maybe I don't have the shopping gene. Haha! Oh well, the only thing I look forward to this season is the holiday I get! I am just working too hard lately.

Awesome news! Air Asia will be holding a sale from 8th Dec 2011 12.00am onwards, where air tickets are said to cost from 10sen onwards only! But of course, for low fare tickets, there are terms and conditions to adhere to. Do note that travel period is from 1st July to 27th Oct, 2012.

Well, the bad thing is that prices MAY start from 10sen, but are we able to grab our tickets at that price? If we are lucky, if the Air Asia web server doesn't jam! Anyway, will still try my luck tomorrow morning!

Laminate Flooring

I went over to my neighbor's house to have a look at the renovation work over the weekend. They seemed to have taken forever, with all the banging and drilling; they were quite apologetic!

They told me they were unhappy with their flooring and they are now going to redo the flooring of the entire house with alloc original laminate flooring. First of all, it's eco-friendly, which is a plus point. In addition, comes with lifetime residential warranty.

Since my dad is thinking of renovating the house too, I think I better let him know about Alloc Original. I think it is more practical than marble flooring. What do you think?
