A friend told me that flash tattoo is so "yesterday" but I don't think so. Recently I have been rather taken by tattoos but not to the point of getting them on my own skin (yet). I fear the pain, oh dear!

Our Love For The Mustang

The Ford Mustang has had a place in the heart of my family for a long time. It was a car that my father imported from the United States a few decades ago, way back in the 1960s. Back then, it was a sign of wealth if one were to drive a foreign made car and my father, with a larger than life ego, wanted a car classy enough to make people do a double take.

As new models roll out, my father continued to import them. He said that Ford Mustang is very reliable and large enough for his family of five to travel in comfort unlike Japanese cars of that time which will only fit four adults comfortably.

His love for the Mustang rubbed off on his children. When my sister arrived in the United States, the first item in her "things to buy" list was a Mustang. To her delight, she found a second hand 1998 Mustang within her budget and she bought it without a second thought.

Many people wondered why, being alone in the United States, she bought a family car, instead of a smaller car. Well, they do not know that our love for the Mustang run deep! I guess only a fellow Mustang lover would understand.

When I went to the United States last year to visit my sister, I had a chance to take her Mustang for a spin. Wow I was impressed that for a car almost as old as I am, it still packs power. Being in America and joining the Ford Mustang Owners' Club only did we truly understand why the Mustang has been one of America's favorite cars since the first production Mustang rolled off the assembly line in Michigan way back in1964.

And I am going to predict that our love for the Mustang will continue into the next generation since my sister's fiancé is a diehard Mustang lover as well.

I was first introduce to Flash Elemental Tower Defense by a friend, another hardcore gamer. I am ready to try anything but I like to read what is in store first before venturing into this genre.

I came across GamingTags.com and it is a good start for someone like me who is just venturing into the game. I have to agree with the author of the article, Tower Defense Ideas, we need game developers to come up with more than just the basic elements of Fire, Ice & Poison or Air & Ground.

It would be interesting to see what independent developers can come up with.

I have my computer switched on the whole day and it can get very boring looking at the same desktop wallpaper all the time. That s why I have it changed daily. But changing it daily can be tiring too!

What a delight it was to find Random Wallpaper Changer v1.02. This program runs in the background and it doesn't interfere with the computer or user and in fact, the user can define the interval he would like the program to change the wallpaper selected from .bmp files stored in a designated directory.

It is easy to stop the program from running in memory. Just move your cursor to the top left corner of your screen. The program will then close and display an About Box screen. Close this and the program will exit. Windows will delete the file upon exiting the software.

A Story Of Free Roses

Distant relatives of mine are actually successful flower growers in Cameron Highlands. They have been in this trade long enough to venture into crossing roses and creating roses of various non-conventional colors like blue or orange.

Naturally, I also picked up the art of planting roses. Anyway, one Valentine's Day a few years ago, my cousin came to my house to ask for a dozen roses.

I asked him what color of roses he wanted, and he said he wants blue roses. I thought he would say red roses but he said he wants to stand out from the crowd by giving blue ones to the girl. He said that the girl has never seen blue roses before and will forever remember him. Wow, that is so romantic!

After that time, my cousin will always come for various roses whenever he wants to send roses to his girlfriend.

Now, this cousin of mine is very stingy. He comes to me for free roses. One year, I had to leave town and he couldn't get my free roses.

A New Direction For Men's Fashion

I am not known to blog hop but two blogs I never miss are Belisi's Sharp By Design and Diva's Dreams. I gained so much fashion knowledge from these two blogs. Many people asked me why I am interested in men's fashion as well. I tell them I want the men in my life to look good too, don't I?

I like the new cartoony fashion. It is of course unconventional, but it gives a cheery look and feel to the wearer and hence brightens up the room and the people around him.

From the fashion presented in the latest fashion shows, it looks like the old 1980s look is back, what with the big hairdo, leggings and neon-colored psychedelic designs and patterns just like that era. I may be wrong though.

Also, Peter Belisi said that leggings for men are back. Errmm I am not sure if men really like that and I don't think it will catch on but we shall have to see in a few months' time.

I think I like Docle & Gabana's latest James Bond themed fashion. They are smart, if only the man can carry the suit well.

A few months ago, before I was introduced to Belisi Fashions, I wasn't that interested in what I wear. Seriously, and I am a girl! But after I came to know of Belisi Fashions, I started to keep track of his designs AND get educated on the fashion scene thanks to his blogs.

In a recent article, A new season at The Gap, on The Diva's Dreams, the question was asked by Belisi: luxe handbags at the Gap?

I like the idea of clothes that fit both seasons and can make a smooth transition from winter to spring which is called transitional fashion. Why should we buy new clothes every season, right? Designers who make transition fashion are headed the right way.

I have to agree that denim has overstayed its welcome. It's time to get denim out of my own wardrobe too. The material may last forever, but the fashion will not. So I better do something about 'em jeans!

Honestly, $198 for a leather bag is way too steep, even for bigger fashion labels than Gap. I for one would never buy a bag at that price and if I did, it may have been in a moment of insanity. I would even feel guilty for the rest of my life.

It's not really a matter of affordability, but I want to question the logic of buying a bag for $198 or a nicer and yet cheaper bag.
