FiringSquad, home of the hardcore gamer is seeking gaming or technology journalists, but they are not hiring. Instead they are throwing out a challenge to all FiringSquad members to submit their best articles. Articles must be either gaming or technology themed, of course. These articles will be critiqued by a panel of judges from the FiringSquad and the winners of the preliminary rounds will proceed to Round 2, then 3 and finally, a winner will be chosen.

There are two categories to participate in, namely the Editors challenge where submission is in text form and the Video challenge where submission is of course in video format.

As this is the inaugural FiringSquad Editors Challenge, everyone is excited to see if a gem of a journalist could be unearthed. The winners will win writing or video production contracts with FiringSquad. Winning these contracts will not enable you to quit your day job but you will be one of the first to test out new hardware and review them. This position allows you to be an authority on new gadgetry too.

This challenge is open to everyone but those who are under 18 years old, though, will not be eligible to win the prizes.
