I am sure a lot of people who are internet savvy have at one time or another downloaded movies via bittorents Well, not all files that are downloaded this way are illegal. There are legal sharing of public files as well.
I found this website called Public Domain Torrents. Most files here are movie files and they are all neatly separated into various categories so it is very hassle-free to look for the genre that you want.
From what I see though, there are many classic movies available, so those who enjoy black and white movies will have a field day going through the site.
To save time, you can also buy the files copied on DVD-R and many other formats at a low price.
