I accompanied my friend to the flea market on Sunday, and he picked up two guitars there. These were used, pretty frayed guitars, but my friend said he doesn't mind. He is still a very new learner, you see, and there will be plenty of time to upgrade once he has mastered the instrument.
My friend already has his eye on the great gibson j-45 for sale at guitar center, which he said is a great motivator for him to learn the guitar faster.
Also, now is a great time for him to save up some money to buy it.
