Thanks to Facebook, I reconnected to many of my old schoolmates recently. We took the opportunity of a long weekend to meet up and I am surprised that most of my old friends are "somebody" now. What surprised me was that some of these people were struggling with their studies when we were in school. Perhaps they developed late. Really late.
Well, as one of the top students in my class, I am now just a blogger and it is nothing compared to my friends who are now enjoying high flying careers. Honestly, even though I am enjoying what I do despite the lower earnings compared to them and love the time flexibility, they make me feel small.
Oh well, we all can't be career women, I guess. I just need to stay focused on my own work and put in my best effort!
