I went to a property fair recently in my city and one thing funny caught my eye. You know, running two freebie blogs, I am always on the look out for freebies, samples and giveaways to share with my readers, right?
So I was at this property fair and one of the properties displayed was homestead land. Buyers are required to build their own homes from scratch. I kind of like the designs that they came up with, which buyers could select for free as opposed to getting their own architect to draw up plans for the houses.
The funny thing was that each purchase of a plot of land came with twenty free fruit trees. Yes, they had this written on the brochure! However, they did not mention the kind of trees that will be given free or the quantum per species. These free trees could be rambutan trees, durian trees, mango trees or any other tropical fruit trees. Of course, it would be too much to ask for Apricot trees or coconut palm because these just aren't suitable to be planted there!
