Image courtesy of Ubuntu I don't remember anymore when was the first time I ever heard of the word Ubuntu but I remember asking a friend what that was because I see some people starting blogs dedicated to it but I don't have a technical mind and it tends to blank out whenever I come across something technical!
Anyway, Ubuntu, if I understand correctly, is an operating system for computers and laptops like Windows and Linux. Best of all, it is free. Freeware is always the best!
Ubuntu is open to free downloads at the website https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ but you can also request for a copy of the CD, which may take ten weeks to deliver. I think this offer is only open to residents of the United States.
Download is easy but the size of the file is not mentioned. Is it because they are afraid that they will scare people off? LOL
