A friend has recently bought a lodge. It is pretty run down, actually, but he is very inspired to get it spruced up and furnished to his liking. It will take some time and cost a bit of money but it will be his holiday home, so he doesn't mind.
I gave him the idea of making the lodge more authentic looking by furnishing it with log furniture after coming across a log bed at the store. I think it would be a good conversation piece when the entire lodge is furnished with log tables, chairs, wardrobes and beds!
