Someone from Binfer left me a comment but I didn't see it until today and I am amazed at what it offers. When I attended CommunicAsia 2010, I saw something called iTwin which allows two people to transfer large files if they each have one part of iTwin connected to the computer and paired over the internet.
Binfer works the same except that there is no hardware or accessory required, but both parties will have to download a software. It's free but to use the service, one has to pay. I understand that the first 1GB of files transferred every month is free, though, but I don't know if one needs to have "credit" in the account initially to use this 1GB. If not, then excellent!
If you are using Binfer already, I hope you can clarify this for me. I'd really love using this service but frankly, I'm a freebie lover and I try not to pay if I don't have to.

You can send 1 GB per month for absolutely free. No credit card required. You have to pay only if you want to send more than 1 GB. Also, receiving is 100% free. I use this to send pics/videos of my kids to their gramps and absolutely love it.
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for the clarification. I'm looking forward to using the service, then!
