I think it's great if parents could cultivate the love and respect for animals in their children from young.
If you have young children who would love some coloring activities, here are some very good printable animal coloring pages courtesy of Animal Veterinary Center. Printing these coloring sheets in .GIF format is very easy and wouldn't waste too much of your black ink because they are just outlines of the animals.
I know, when it's summer, children would rather be out of the house but then when you live in a country like Malaysia, where it rains half the time, it'll be great to have something occupy the kids when they are "trapped" at home.
