A friend, Amy, called me up a couple of days ago, to chat. She was very troubled because her husband just suffered from yet another pay cut. Well, this is certainly nothing unusual no thanks to the weak economy. I told her that she's lucky that her husband at least still holds the job!
Amy confided to me that they are inundated with credit card debt and it seems as if she is making one credit card payment or another throughout the month. It tires her out, although the physical act is just clicking the mouse a few times which could be done online at home. But I do understand that what she meant was mental tiredness.I wonder if she considered credit card consolidation. It will help take off the pressure because she would only have to manage a single repayment every month and enjoy a lower interest rate too. of course, I have no experience in credit card consolidation at all buy from what I read, it is a very good option for people like Amy and her husband who have to deal with multiple repayments in a month.
I told Amy that besides consolidating their credit card debt, both of them have to go for credit counseling. She says it is embarrassing but what is more embarrassing than to run out of money before the month is over?
I don't think Amy will take the initiative to look for a consumer credit counseling service but as luck would have it, I came across CCofAmerica.com which offers no-obligation consultations for free. Just what Amy and her husband need!
