My brother-in-law has just started to collect vintage cars. Having loved cars all these while, he finally have the time, money and resources to indulge in this expensive hobby.
Of course, it helps that he knows how to repair cars himself, and to cut further costs, he shops for car parts and best buy auto equipment online.
Living in the suburbs, he has great opportunity to take his car out for a spin every day. He has even invited me to come along but I just couldn't find the time yet. At least, not yet. I hope that I could join him and my sister soon!
