My friend, Paul, who works in New York City, never fails to ask me about the weather back home. It's totally wet these days and it rains almost every afternoon. And the rain is so heavy, it is dangerous to be outdoors! I dare not even drive when it rains like that because I could hardly see. Paul thinks that it's just normal tropical thunderstorms.
I think I am going to buy a pair of kamik rain boots and put it in my car on standby so that if it rains that hard and it usually does, at least I can wear it and not get my feet wet when I get down from the car. I hate having to wear soggy shoes, especially heels. Who doesn't?
