As my parents grow older, I become more aware that they do not have any insurance policy in their name at all. I am afraid that as cost of living increases and as people live longer, it may be a burden to care for them, especially if they fall ill. Medical fees are becoming increasingly expensive too and the worst thing is that they do not have life insurance too!
My sister asked me to look for seniors life insurance for them and once I have found a suitable policy, we, the children, should pool our resources to subscribe to the policy for them. This is a good idea and better late than never, I think.
Right now, I am busy requesting for seniors life insurance quotes and rates online. It doesn’t take up too much time, luckily, since everything could be done online. I think we should be able to get this settled after Chinese New Year.
