A friend promised to teach me the basics of the programme but the guy lives in a different state and it will be a long while yet before we get together. I think it's easier for me to just use the work of other designers. Mine, if I managed to come up with something at all, would probably not be good enough for public consumption!
This morning, by chance I stumbled upon this website called Brush King and there are so many quality Photoshop brushes. There are currently 366 packs with a total of 6762 brushes. Many of these brushes are available for free download and could be used for personal and commercial purposes as well. Just credit Brush King whenever possible, with a link back to the website. This ensures that we will continuously enjoy such free quality brushes from Brush King!
