In a quest to look for contests, freebies, sweepstakes and all things good on the internet over the past few years, I have come across many raffles that promise a house as prize. I am sure that even though these houses are pretty good, some in excellent condition, some furnished and even come with carports, if you have been following my freebies blogs, you will realize that I have never once featured such raffles, or sweeps.
Well, that's because buying a raffle ticket, and hoping that there would be enough tickets sold, to cover the cost of the house, then only would the sweepstakes be carried out, would be like a game of chance, and would not be a "contest". Don't you agree?
Moreover, due to the nature of such raffles, international readers would not have the chance to win a house. I always try to look for something that everyone could participate in. That's the whole point of this blog.
