If you are a TM customer, you may have already received a newsletter from TM Rewards whereby they are giving away MYR10 voucher from JC Penney Malaysia in conjunction with Hari Raya. TM must be dreaming to think that we could shop at JC Penney Malaysia with just MYR10.
You see, I have been to JC Penney Malaysia before, they actually ship their goods from the United States, or one of the stocking warehouses around the world that is closest to Malaysia. There is no warehouse in Malaysia, so imagine to buy some American brand product in a Malaysian portal, you will have to pay international shipping.
Additionally, your purchase may be imposed with custom duties at the point of reaching the country, depending on what you purchase so it is not viable to purchase anything from a store like that, UNLESS you are aware of this system. So what's MYR10 cash voucher? It wouldn't even pay for shipping!
