As a smart phone owner for more than a year already, I still marvel at the abundance of free information that I could access easily on my phone. I take my hat off to technology. I no longer have to stick at the computer for long hours searching for information because I could connect to the web via my smart phone and check for information on the go.
This mobility and freedom is especially important to busy people who are always on the move. My friend, Lau, who is a doctor, told me that since getting a smart phone, he can't leave home without it anymore.
You see, as a doctor, there are times when he needs to look up medical information, particularly on diseases or drugs. He may even need to check for drug reaction even if his prescription is for something as simple as Influenza Infection.
I have to agree with him. Once we have tasted this convenience, it is very difficult for us if we have to downgrade and stop carrying an internet connected smart device!
