Basically, a favicon is a small "logo" that people use for their websites or blogs to make them stand out among all the websites in the bookmark and browser address bar.
I found a few free online favicon generators but this one, a new site still in Beta, IconJ, could simply be the best. Check out the website to see their database of over 15,500 of dynamic and animated favicon, favicon generator and hosting.
I personally like the animated favicons and think that websites or blogs that are using them would really stand out. However, it’s too bad that I hardly see any site using animated favicons.
