Ever since I read the book, “Coffee, Tea or Me”, I have wanted to be a flight attendant. Well, it is too bad that my ambition did not come true mainly because at that time, there was not even one flight attendant school in my area. Of course, some of my friends did become flight attendants but they had to go overseas for that.
Well, I missed the opportunity to have a flight attendant career, and although I am happy with what I am doing now, I still sometimes wished that I was paid to travel. This feeling is most acute when I go on vacations and I end up footing all my bills!
Since there are no more books like Coffee, Tea or Me anymore, I check out a flight attendant blog occasionally. I love reading stories about flying, the experiences of flight attendants, the people they meet on board a flight. Some people act strangely when they are up in the air. It must be the atmosphere that makes them light headed.
Anyway, if my daughter, if and when I have a daughter, tells me that she wants to be a flight attendant, I would definitely encourage her. It is a most fulfilling and satisfying career!
