My friend, Jesse, is trying to furnish her new home. She is on a tight budget so we suggested that she buy her furniture from a yard sale or we could each contribute a little something to her home, from coffee tables to dining chairs.
Jesse said that her home is NEW and she would only like to have NEW furniture and fixtures. Hah... guess she is the kind of person who would rather have a home with a prestigious address without considering the cost of furbishing her home. Jesse would rather have an empty home and buy her furniture and other home accessories little by little.
But then I have been thinking that it would be awesome if she could participate and win a home makeover contest. Then she could have her dream home and designer furniture without having to fork out an extra dime.
