Image courtesy of GarudaBy chance I stumbled onto the website of Garuda Indonesia International Photo Contest 2008. As you know, I have a photography blog but I am not that confident of my photo shooting skills to participate in a competition and compete with international photographers.
This contest by Garuda is themed 'My Home, My Country‘ and is open to all photographers, whether amateur or professional, in the ASEAN region, Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, Australia, Indonesia and a few more countries in South East Asia. Please check your country's eligibility in the drop down menu of the registration form.
If you are interested to participate, you will have to register with their website to enable you to upload you entries and track them.
Closing date is 31st May, 2008. Not much time but enough if you are an avid photographer. And you will stand to win up to $2,500 first prize. I believe this is in USD.
