I used to have a relative who was blind since childbirth. He has passed away a few years ago. Although we, people with sight, may think that they are "handicapped", sometimes, I am amazed that it seemed that he could "see".
A couple of days ago, I stumbled upon the website of the American Foundation For The Blind. Apparently, Braille is a simple language that is based on logic and once we know how it works, we can "read" without problems.
The American Foundation For The Blind is giving a Braille Bug Card to anyone who requests for it. Teachers can request for these Braille Bug Cards in bulk too.
