My friend, Markus who holidays in Florida every summer, told me that he likes to drive around the upper class neighborhood of W South Beach Condo. According to Markus, this is a very plush condo-hotel style of accommodation and it is very popular with people buying it to live but also people who are taking is as an investment and holiday home.
Markus said that this place is very convenient, especially for people who travel a lot as it is close to airports and marinas. Basically, this property was developed with the rich in mind, people who have their own boat or private plane, so they could utilize the marina or private airstrip.
According to Markus, many of the owners are celebrities and people that we see in the newspapers or TV all the time, but then Markus, an architect, loves going there to check out the architecture only and not star gaze. Well, that’s what he claims!
