I am trying to build my own website and trying as hard as possible not to use too many free images and look like it came out from a cookie cutter. I would like to customize my site, of course, but am too cheap to pay someone to do it that's why I have been looking all over the internet for free stuff.

I found this site, Guru Tools, where we can make a custom logo. All they want is a link back from our site. I think that's pretty reasonable. Guru Tools also offer free professional content, free online visitor counter and free online hit counter. All these are important features that a website should have.

And if you noticed, the tools offered by Guru Tools are actually for webmasters and I think, perfect for my type of non-commercial personal site.
