Image courtesy of Avatars Database If you know me from a few years back, you would know that I was the forum Queen. I would post and post and raked up over ten thousand posts in a couple of forums. In retrospect, I don't know why I did that for and I am sure I wasted plenty of time too.
One thing about forums is the people that form the character of it. They add colour and voice and we come to identify each user ID with a particular image, their respective avatars. If you are a forum junkie, you will know what I mean. Changing an avatar too often can throw us off thinking that this is a new member. Or if two members use the same avatar just for lark, we could mistake one for the other! haha!
A couple of days ago, while looking for backgrounds for my new website, I came across Avatars Database. It's kind of weird that I keep being distracted by what I wanted to do; i.e. look for backgrounds but one click led me to another and I discover so many new things and end up not finding what I wanted for my site!
Anyway, if you are looking for free avatars, check out Avatars Database. There are so many here you would be spoilt for choice. But remember, your avatar is like your brand name. Don't change it too often!
