As you probably know, I own a few websites and I like to spruce them up occasionally with free stuff that I found on the internet, free stuff as in widgets, icons, music, layouts, graphics and anything that adds value to my site.

Today, I came across this database of backgrounds. There are many sets here, so just click on the link to FREE BACKGROUNDS and open the links one by one. To use these backgrounds, you have to save the image to your computer and then upload to your own server. Make sure not to hotlink them off the site due to bandwidth issue, and you have to provide a link back to the site of background.cc for each page that you have used their background.

I find that it is only fair to give them credit where it is due. After all, it is just link back. When you are using something that is free, always read their terms of use. Each creator has a different set of rules, that's all.
