Feedback On My Plastic Surgery Post

About two weeks ago, I wrote a post on plastic surgery as the prize package of a contest. I received feedback from fellow readers. Some was aghast that this can be used as a prize, some see nothing wrong about giving out a breast augmentation as first prize.

Well, we all have our differing opinions, of course. If everybody thinks alike the world would be very boring, wouldn’t it?

While I myself can do with a Beverly Hills liposuction, I personally feel that to make a plastic surgery procedure into a prize is overboard. The signal it gives out is that nobody is good looking unless we get under the knife, so to speak. Well, we know that nobody is perfect but then do we need to have our self-esteem trashed? I don’t think so.

I think that if people want to get a plastic surgery, they would get it in full understanding and not just because, “Hey, I won it, it’s free! It will be wasted if I don’t use it, you know?!?” That was why I mentioned that it is morally incorrect.

Anyway, I am not condemning those who participated in the contest but I know that the world now has one more beautiful person thanks to the prize given out in the contest. I have no doubt that the winner made full use of it.
