I have been searching for desktop computers on behalf of the company. It is fun to be the procurement officer because I get to surf the internet to shopping sites while at work.
Can you imagine getting paid to shop? Well, it feels like that. However, it is my responsibility to look for PC deals on branded computers (READ: My manager specifically wanted Dell ONLY) and I have to live up to my reputation as being a discerning shopper. I have a name to live up to as a web savvy internet shopper in looking for deals, even if it comes to computers.
Thankfully, Dell is always running promotions and we get to save money by buying through their online store, so I don't really have to do anything much except to look busy!
