I came across a website called Pokemon Learning League where it will make learning so much interesting for young children. Although I do not have children myself, I have heard my friends complain that their kids have no interest to learn and would rather watch cartoons on TV or the computer. Each time I come across education sites that I think may help them, I will ask them to try it out and see if there is any improvement.
On the outset, Pokemon Learning League may look like a fun and games site but it actually was developed by elementary educators and specially catered to children from eight to twelve years old.
In this subscription based site, children can learn Math, Science, Language Arts and Life Skills and with each activity on the site, they earn points which would enhance their ranking in each subject matter. Each lesson is divided into three sections; Watch, Try, and Apply.
Pokemon Learning League currently has a free trial to so that parents and their children can try the site out and see how effective the lessons are in helping the children in learning, understanding and remembering their lessons.
No credit card is required to sign up for the free trial. I have encouraged my friends to sign up. Why don't you?
