You may know that I have been fascinated with poker since I watched a drama about the life of a pro poker player who made it big in Las Vegas. Prior to that, I knew nothing about poker but since then, I have been pestering my friend who plays poker to teach me but he is rather reluctant because he said that girls should not learn poker. Hah how sexist!

So I have no choice but to gain my knowledge through books and online resources. Thankfully, there are many gaming sites that allow new players to practice their skills without putting out money to play or I would lose my bets every round :-)

I also found a very informative online Poker Forum where I could learn many things related to poker. While I am not a member yet, I may just decide to join but only after I am more knowledgeable. I am afraid the veteran members will laugh at me because my knowledge of poker is still very shallow and I am not able to contribute constructive opinion and suggestions on the boards.

While this forum is mainly for Poker talk and discussion, there is also a sub-section where one could discuss about other card games like Regno, Blackjack and even Snap.

All in all, this forum is not all about promoting gambling but about helping each other improve on their skills and to play to win.
