Usually, fathers take a back seat in any celebrations. As far as I know Mother's Day is celebrated more than Father's Day. Perhaps we tend not to show too much emotion with our fathers but I believe with a new generation of children and being influenced by the commercialism found on the internet, we are starting to buy more Fathers Day gifts and generally spend more time with our fathers, especially on Father's Day.
