I am supposed to help my cousin look for Personal Tutors in the UK for her children. I found a few websites but the user-friendly one is UKTutors.com.
The front page features a large search box and one just need to key in postcode, subject and level required. I could also search by subject which are neatly listed at the bottom of the page but upon clicking it, the subject will appear on the search box itself. I would have preferred it to list out the number of tutors that are available for each particular subject in a certain postcode.
The plus side of this website is that one could search for text books using keywords as well. A search would render a list of book titles with information on author, publisher, released date and prices of a new and used copy of that book.
This search engine is very useful for the busy student who needs to look for reference books but do not have much time.
And then there's a section for latest education news and they are separated according to level for easy reading.
All in all, this site is great for people looking for private tutors in the UK with its clean and uncluttered interface and user-friendly search engines.
