What is Poptical looking for?
Poptical ESP® is looking for fresh, new talent with a typical and inspiring, own sound. The style is not important. Diversity, originality and that particular timeless sound even more. Do you think you have what it takes to enter the major league?

What can I win?
The winner of the Poptical ESP® ‘Become a Producer’ contest receives a contract at the Poptical ESP® Music Label including the release of your winning track, a pressing of that track on 500 pieces of 12” vinyl and worldwide distribution of these records.

Besides that Poptical ESP® will take care of the essential promotion and we will use our contacts at organisations, promoters and pluggers from party’s, festival’s and clubs to arrange your gigs. Off course we won’t hesitate to use the force of our international media platform to rocket launch your carreer!

This exclusive, all-in-one contract is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Therefor we invite all innovative sound designers and masters in composing true soulfull music to enter this competition.

How can I enter the Contest?
Send your track unmastered and on a Compact Disk to:
Poptical ESP, Hoflaan 95, 2321SN Leiden, The Netherlands
Make sure you include the following details:

Name Artist, - Name of the track, - Duration

Also fill in your real name and contact details + e-mail address. All entries must be received by Poptical ESP® no later than November 1st, 2006. Poptical ESP® is not responsible for late, lost, incomplete, stolen or misdirected entries. Entries received after this term will be disqualified.

Who will judge my track?
The tracks will be judged by three respected names from the electronic dance scene. They will choose five finalists. The finalists will be judged by the viewers true an online voting system.

With how many songs can I enter the Producer Contest?
As many as you like! Only every track you enter must be burned on a different Compact Disk.

When and how will the winners be announced?
At the end of 2006, beginning 2007 the winner will be announced during a special Internet TV Show of Poptical Music.

Copyright
All profit earned with the releasing of the track is for the artist. And off course everybody who enters this competition will keep all the copyrights of the tracks they send in.

When you send in a track, you give Poptical ESP® the right to use the music for their shows. You also guarantee that you own the rights of all material that is used in your production. Or so, have the strict permission of the artist/creator that owns the particular copyright to use his/her music, samples, sounds for commercial purpose. If you send in a co-produced track you have to make sure you don’t forget to leave the details of all the artists that helped building your song.
